Participate in Research

The Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center has a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers to participate in important research studies designed to discover ways to prevent, treat, and ultimately eradicate Alzheimer’s disease as well as other related neurological diseases. We are recruiting diverse volunteers on an ongoing basis to learn more about memory and aging.

We are seeking individuals of any age with memory loss, including persons diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), Alzheimer’s disease, frontotemporal dementia, Parkinson's disease with dementia and Lewy Body disease. We also need seniors who do not have significant memory loss to serve as our controls.

While some of our studies investigate treatments designed to improve thinking and daily functioning, we are also studying ways to slow decline or delay the onset of Alzheimer’s’ disease. Shiley Marcos ADRC participants may be among the first to benefit from promising new treatments.
