Currents is the newsletter of the Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. It is published three times a year and features updates in research, projects, resources, and staff news that is being generated from our ADRC. Readers learn about new clinical trials, research advances, innovative programs, and ideas for healthy aging. Currents is edited by Lisa Snyder, LCSW and Christina Gigliotti Ph.D. All graphics and layout designs are created by Yada Khoongumjorn. All study participants receive a printed copy of Currents and electronic copies are available by clicking on the icons below.

Perspectives is a quarterly newsletter written for people with dementia that addresses the concerns, reflections, and coping skills of individuals with Alzheimer's or a related memory disorder. It provides up-to-date research, explores relevant topics, provides a forum for discussion, and builds bridges between people with memory loss around the world. Individuals with Alzheimer's or a related disorder contribute their perspectives to this newsletter in the form of articles, poetry, or letters. Perspectives is written and edited by Lisa Snyder, LCSW and published by the University of California, San Diego, Shiley-Marcos Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. Robyn Yale, LCSW and staff of the Shiley-Marcos ADRC serve as editorial advisors. Perspectives is available as a free email newsletter or by surface mail for a suggested donation of $20.00/year (please add $2.00 for international subscribers).
